Grad Walk 6/6
🌟 Please join us Friday, June 6th as we celebrate our past Nelson students with a special Grad Walk for the Class of 2025!
 
Grad Walk is a beloved tradition that allows graduating seniors to return to their elementary alma mater, dressed in their caps and gowns, to walk through hallways lined with cheering elementary students and staff. It’s a meaningful opportunity for seniors to reflect on how far they have come, reconnect with familiar faces, and serve as role models for younger students who dream of following in their footsteps.
BOGO Book Fair 5/12-5/14
Get ready to stock up on some of your summer reading. We are having a BOGO book fair May 12th-14th from 4:30 to 7:30pm in the Nelson Foyer.
What a great way to get those books you missed at our last fair, with an incredible sale!! Who doesn't love buy one, get one free?!
However, in order for us to run this fair, we need the help of our parents. Please review the signup link above to help us out. Please remember that all volunteers need a completed background check, and you have to be a PTA member to handle funds.
 
Kindergarten Orientation 5/14
Attention Incoming Kindergarten Families.
 
Join us May 14th at 5pm for kindergarten orientation. You will get the chance to take a short bus ride, have story time with Mrs. Nelson, meet the kindergarten teachers and your 2025/2025 PTA team and open positions.
 
The kinder team is asking is asking you to fill out a survey to tell us about your student. See the link below.

Want to spoil our amazing Nelson staff, or bring some new ideas to next years spirt wear? Do you have strong organizational skills to run a fundraiser or recruit new PTA members? If so, join the 2025/2026 PTA team and help us bring new ideas together. You can even co-chair with someone else to help learn the ropes and share new ideas.
